師生討論如何保持健康,引出如何預(yù)防流感,導(dǎo)入新課。
1. (師生就健康話(huà)題進(jìn)行討論。注意應(yīng)用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞should, shouldn’t, must, mustn’t,導(dǎo)入本課的目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言don’t have to, needn’t。)
T: Boys and girls, we know keeping the school and classrooms clean is good for our health. Then do you know how to keep healthy? You’d better say it with should/shouldn’t, must/ mustn’t, had better (not).
S1: We should have healthy eating habits.
S2: We mustn’t throw litter around.
S3: We mustn’t drink sour milk.
T: Must we go to see a doctor when we have a headache?
S4: Yes, we must.
(幫助學(xué)生用否定形式回答。)
T: No, we don’t have to. / we needn’t. We can have a good rest.

T: Good habits can help us to keep healthy and bad ones can cause diseases. There is a serious disease called flu. It spreads easily among people in spring and autumn.

T: The flu is a serious disease, but we don’t have to be afraid of it. We can do something to prevent it. But how to prevent it? If you want to answer this question, please follow me.

Step 2Presentation 第二步呈現(xiàn)(時(shí)間:13分鐘)
利用圖片進(jìn)行師生對(duì)話(huà),呈現(xiàn)1a內(nèi)容,學(xué)習(xí)文中部分生詞,為聽(tīng)力掃清障礙。聽(tīng)錄音回答問(wèn)題,然后讀對(duì)話(huà)找關(guān)鍵詞,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生從聽(tīng)和閱讀中提取重要信息的能力。
1. (假設(shè)近幾天發(fā)生流感,教師用圖片給以提示,讓學(xué)生盡量用英語(yǔ)談?wù)撛鯓觼?lái)預(yù)防流感,學(xué)生不會(huì)說(shuō)的單詞,教師給予幫助、引導(dǎo),以此來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)1a中的部分生詞。)
T: Suppose the flu spreads quickly among people these days. What should we do to prevent it?
(教師出示開(kāi)窗通風(fēng)的圖片。)
Ss: We should keep the air fresh.
T: Yes, we should keep the air fresh all the time.
(板書(shū)并讓學(xué)生掌握。)

T: If the flu spreads, is it right to go to crowded places?
Ss: No, we had better not go to crowded places.(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答。)

2. (用1a中的圖片引出1a聽(tīng)力。)
T:Look at the picture in 1a. Kangkang is watching TV. On TV, a journalist is interviewing his father. What are they talking about? Let’s listen to1a.

T: Now, listen to the tape and find out the answers to these questions.

3. (認(rèn)真閱讀1a,找出關(guān)鍵詞及生詞。)
T: Please read the dialog carefully and then find out the key words and new words.
(核對(duì)答案。板書(shū)關(guān)鍵詞及生詞。解釋并要求學(xué)生掌握hurry, hurry up, go ahead;理解finally。)

Step 3Consolidation 第三步鞏固(時(shí)間:7分鐘)
完成1a和1b,使學(xué)生熟悉目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言。
1. (再放1a錄音,并讓學(xué)生跟讀,注意模仿語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)。然后完成1b,并以問(wèn)答形式鞏固。)
T: Listen to1aagain and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Then finish 1b. Ask and answer in pairs to check Dr. Li’s advice.

S2: We should do exercise often. We shouldn’t go to crowded places …
2. (學(xué)生自讀1a后,四人一組練習(xí)對(duì)話(huà)。然后脫離課本,根據(jù)黑板上的關(guān)鍵詞,表演出來(lái)。)
T: Read1aby yourselves, then practice it in groups of four. You can look at your books at first. Then act out the dialog according to the key words on the blackboard.
Step 4Practice 第四步練習(xí)(時(shí)間:10分鐘)
完成1c和2。通過(guò)編對(duì)話(huà),使學(xué)生進(jìn)一步掌握本課的'目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言。
1. (完成1c,重點(diǎn)訓(xùn)練don’t have to/ needn’t的用法。練習(xí)本課目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言。)
T: Let’s do 1cusing the information in 1b. First read the dialog, and pay attention to the target language don’t have to/needn’t.
2. (先師生問(wèn)答,然后由學(xué)生兩人一組練習(xí)。)
T: Now, I ask, you answer, then practice in pairs.

T:Must we finish homework on time?
S1: Yes, we must.
T:Must we finish it now?
S2: No, we don’t have to.
S3: No, we needn’t.
3. (看2中的圖片,討論怎樣預(yù)防流感。)
T: Look at the pictures in 2, and discuss what we should do to prevent the flu.
(討論幾分鐘后,要求學(xué)生完成2里面的練習(xí)。提示學(xué)生注意should, had better, must的用法。)
T: Follow the examples to make dialogs using the sentence patterns:“We should…/We had better …/We must …”

(學(xué)生小組練習(xí)之后,核對(duì)答案。教師可以請(qǐng)幾組同學(xué)到講臺(tái)前為大家表演。)
Step 5Project 第五步綜合探究活動(dòng)(時(shí)間:7分鐘)
通過(guò)創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,分角色表演和寫(xiě)短文,提高學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用本課所學(xué)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的能力。
1. (四人一組做一個(gè)采訪。一人扮演記者,其他三人扮演醫(yī)生。記者采訪如何預(yù)防流感,醫(yī)生回答記者的提問(wèn)。評(píng)出優(yōu)勝組。)
T: Work in groups of four. One acts as a journalist. The others act as doctors. The journalist asks how to prevent the flu. The doctors answer the journalist’s questions. Then act out in the front and we will decide which group is the winner at last.
2. Homework:
寫(xiě)一篇小短文來(lái)說(shuō)明如何預(yù)防流感。
