  Team communication is an essential part of senior management. An effective team requires clear and effective communication between the manager and team members. Many managers must decide if using direct communication or two-way communication will be effective in getting results from a team. Here are three tips for managers from senior manager Gareth Magowan, the writer of “Be a Manager in 66 Days”, for those who want to be great leaders and maintain good team relationships.

  1)You cannot rely on one form of communication. A manager must use both two-way and directive communication.

  2)Remain consistent. As a senior manager, you should lead by example. Say what you mean and do what you say. In that way, your team can rely on you and find the most effective and comfortable way to work with you.
