填寫英文簡歷不要出現(xiàn)以下的信息：第一，你的身高和體重，對于外國人來說，這些都屬于個人的隱私，包括是否結婚這類信息，你都沒有必要在簡歷當中表現(xiàn)出來。因為外國人的觀念很簡單，那就是你本人到他們公司上班，是你個人的事情，工作和你的家庭背景是沒有任何的關系，因此他們也不想知道有關于你的家庭和你個人的私密信息。所以我們就要把這類信息全部剔除掉;第二，不要說明自己的政治面貌，因為老外并不希望一些政治背景過于復雜的人到他們企業(yè)工作，到時候就不會出現(xiàn)一些不必要的麻煩，總之他們需要的是一個對公司有利，而不是給公司增加風險的人。因此，不管你是什么政治面貌，你都不要提這個東西，以免因為這方面的原因影響自己的面試。你不要因為自己是黨員，就能夠獲得優(yōu)勢，老外才不理會你是什么，這些東西對他們來說沒有任何價值。
另外，簡歷當中的性格介紹也應該省掉，因為人是很難真正了解自己的，再說你說自己如何好，誰知道到底如何?因此性格介紹顯得無必要性。
