1. Can you tell me a little about yourself?
i. Currently I am studying accounting and I graduate next year.
ii. I have been working at CBA for the last 2 years.
i. I came in the top 10% for business law last semester.
ii. I won employee of the month 3 months ago.
i. So now I am ready for the next step in my career, which has brought me here.
ii. After those accomplishments I am looking for a new challenge, bringing me to this moment.
2. Tell me what you know about this company?
i. Well ABC and Co were established in 1978 with the motto “Integrity and Persistence”.
ii. This really resonates with me, my summer job was working for the CSIRO where the data needed to be accurate and we constantly had to work overtime to meet deadlines.
3. Give me an example of a conflict or challenge that you were able to resolve. S.T.A.R.法:
“A key speaker for our Property Expo cancelled last minute for a morning presentation on Property Law” 就在產(chǎn)權(quán)會(huì)議即將開始時(shí),針對(duì)物權(quán)法進(jìn)行介紹的主講取消了上午的演說。
“I was asked to replace the speaker and try to get us a bit more time.”
“Switched the afternoon speaker to the morning, then contacted our lawyers who happened to have a part time professor in Property Law. He was able to taxi out and make it for the afternoon.”
“It was not perfect, but we explained the situation to the audience, it started out a bit slow but in the end turned into a more informal Q&A. We now use the professor for all future expos.”
The last time I went to a park was approximately last month, the flowers were beautiful and the birds were singing.
The last time I visited a park was more or less last month, the flora was in full bloom and birds were chirping.
Stuart was often hard to find around the house. He was so small. [Simple]
Stuart was often hard to find around the house because he was so small. [Compound]
Because he was so small, Stuart was often hard to find around the house. – (Stuart Little) E.B. White [Complex]
· Fluency and Coherence:
梢院(jiǎn)單的用“Let me see”, “I’ll have to think about this” 或者 “from memory”來代替。
· She sells sea shells by the sea shore.
· Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
· pad kid poured curd pulled cold.
There is nothing to fear but fear itself. – JFK
Winning “V”—
Good Luck!
