　　Following are some typical questions that an interviewer may ask during a job interview, and some typical responses:

　　Can you tell me a little more about the Canto project that you did at ABC Incorporated?

　　Oh, that was a very exciting project. We had to increase sales by 40% during the 2nd quarter, and our results exceeded expectations,even though we were under a lot of pressure.

　　Why should I hire you?

　　I feel that my qualifications match your job description. I have a proven track record in resolving problems, multitasking, and dealing with customers, as you can see from my resume.

　　What can you offer this company?

　　In addition to the skills and experience we discussed, I’m an extremely hard worker, I’m very thorough and methodical, I get along great with people, and I’m a quick learner.

　　Can you tell me some of your strengths and weaknesses?

　　I’m loyal, honest, I manage my time effectively, I always follow through on my work, and I have great computer skills. Umm, I can’t really say I have any major weaknethat affects my performance at work. I believe in continual learning and on-the-job training so that I can perform even better. Sometimes, I think I’m too hard-working, but I really love my work.

　　1.Tell me about yourself.

　　這是面試問題中的經(jīng)典頭道“開胃菜”，主要考察求職者的個性是否符合公司的企業(yè)文化，所以回答時要盡量貼近這個公司的情況來推銷自己。比如這個公司屬于汽車行業(yè)，那么你就該回答：“Driving is my hobby. I really love the feeling of running on the road and I take cars as my best friends.”要找到自己跟這個公司的切合點，讓面試官了解你適合這個環(huán)境。

　　2.What are your three greatest strengths?

　　回答這個問題時不可以只是簡單回答：“I‘m really organized， punctual and get along well with others.” 簡潔、精煉找到這個公司所看重的特長，是回答這個問題的關(guān)鍵。像要應(yīng)聘金融行業(yè)，可以說：“I think my three strongest strengths are details-oriental， patient and cautious.”但如果應(yīng)聘者是一個銷售精英，可以說：“I think my strongest strengths are aggressive， hard working and communicative.”總之，需要考慮到應(yīng)聘公司及職務(wù)的需要來選擇表現(xiàn)自己的優(yōu)勢。

　　3.What are your three greatest weaknesses?

　　鐵蕓強(qiáng)調(diào)，老板都愿意找到一個了解、熱愛工作，并能夠為公司創(chuàng)造價值的員工。所以不要很誠實地把自己的毛病都暴露出來，而是要有策略地選擇一些能夠為自己加分的缺點。比如：“I am a perfectionist and I pay very much attention to details. Sometimes I am quite captious.”

　　4.Why are you interested in working for our company?

　　此問題主要考察應(yīng)聘者是否了解這個工作，或者是否真正有興趣，所以需要圍繞整個公司的具體情況，讓面試官知道你很清楚這個公司的運營模式，以及對這項工作非常積極。建議不要以“It seemed like a good career move.”或是“I haven't been able to find anything else interesting.”為開始。如果能有一些實際回答的話，加分會更多。應(yīng)聘者可以這樣回答：“I read an article in the newspa-pe-r and was very impressed by ……”但是前提是你必須真的對這家公司作了研究，同時也要注意，不要讓面試官覺得你是為了討好面試官而言過其實。

　　5.Why did you leave your last job?

　　跳槽的原因可能是因為上一份工作非常糟糕，但面試并不是適合抱怨的場合，而且千萬不要對現(xiàn)有或是過去的雇主或同事進(jìn)行這樣的評論：“I didn't agree with the company's direction.”“I got no recognition for my work.”“My bowas totally unreasonable.”鐵蕓建議，要從自身發(fā)展的角度出發(fā)來回答：“I love my last job and really learned a lot from it， but I need a new platform and bigger space to make my career successful.”總之，要讓面試官知道，以前的公司在你的眼中并非一錢不值，你是懷著感激來評價他們的。

　　6.If we hire you，how long will you stay with us?

　　老板想知道你會不會像離開上一份工作那樣很快也離開這家公司，你可以回答：“As long as my position here allows me to learn and to advance at a pace with my abilities. ”這樣就告訴老板，你是希望同公司一起成長，不會輕易地離開。

　　會計面試常見的英語問題(二)

　　"work experience" is the type of work you‘ve done in the past. If you haven‘t started working yet you can say "Right now I‘m still a student." or "I‘m a recent grad and Ihaven‘t started working yet." In the second sentence, "recent grad" is short for "recent graduate" and means that you have just finished school.

　　請告訴我你過去的工作經(jīng)驗，工作經(jīng)驗就是你過去所做的工作。如果尚未開始工作，就可以回答“Right now I‘m still a student.”(現(xiàn)在我還是個學(xué)生。)或者說“I‘m a recent grad and I haven‘t started working yet.”(我剛剛畢業(yè)，還沒有開始工作。)“recent grad”是“recent graduate”的縮寫，意思是剛剛畢業(yè)。

　　Second One: What‘s your greatest weakness?

　　This is a popular question that western employers like to ask to make candidates nervous! In fact, they ask this to know how you respond to a difficult question. You shouldn‘t answer by telling your greatest weakness since you might not get the job! Instead, you can tell them something that isn‘t directly related to the job position.

　　你最大的缺點是什么?西方老板特別愛問這個問題，讓面試者感到很緊張。事實上，他問這個問題是看你對棘手問題的反應(yīng)。你沒必要如實回答你的弱點，因為那有可能讓你得不到這份工作。相反，你可以告訴他們一些與工作不直接相關(guān)的事情。

　　Third One: Why do you feel you are qualified for this job?

　　This question is a good opportunity to brag a little bit. You should talk about some extra skills you have that maybe wasn‘t included in your resume, or talk about your greatest strength in more detail.

　　你為什么覺得自己勝任這份工作?這時候你要充分發(fā)揮你的“自夸”本領(lǐng)。你可以講述一些簡歷資料里面沒有包括的技能;或者是再詳細(xì)強(qiáng)調(diào)一下你的特長。

　　Fourth One: What kind of salary did you have in mind?

　　Salary is how much money you earn, usually per year. When asked this, it‘s best to answer with a salary range or approximation and not an exact figure. This shows that you are familiar with the industry if you know what the approximate salary should be.

　　你期望的薪水是多少?“salary”就是你賺多少錢，通常是年收入�；卮疬@個問題時，最好說出一個大致范圍，而不是一個確切的數(shù)字。如果你能說出這個工資范圍，那就說明你對此行業(yè)非常了解。

　　Fifth One: If hired, when could you start work?

　　When answering this it‘s best not to say you can start right away. This might make you seem very desperate for a job. A safe answer would be "I can start at the beginning of next month."

　　如果雇傭的話，你什么時候開始工作?回答這個問題時。一定要注意!不要說我馬上可以工作。那會讓對方認(rèn)為你非常迫切地需要這份工作。一個非常保險的回答可以是“I can start at the beginning of next month.”(我下月初可以開始上班。)

　　Sixth One: What kind of work does the posi-tion involve?

　　You can ask this to clarify exactly what kind of work you‘ll be doing.
